Beth & Jamie - West Keal Church & Southview Winter Wedding - Jessy Jones Photography
Updated: Apr 27, 2020
I LOVE a winter wedding, and not only that, I've been absolutely dying to photograph West Keal Church for around 10 years since first meeting my husband, who grew up in the village, So when Beth first contacted me to say its where they were having their ceremony there i was beyond excited!
I first met Beth and Jamie, along with their beautiful twin girls at their Engagement Session, where we decided to go and have a wander around Snipedales here in the Lincolnshire Wolds, plenty of room for the girls to run around and lots of stunning surroundings for us to capture the natural photographs that Beth and Jamie had told me were so Important to them. Just my cup of tea!
The morning of the wedding I started with the ladies at Beths parents home in Stickney, Whilst My good chum Charlotte Booth Photography went to photograph the boys at the couples home before we met up at the church.
I arrived to a house bursting with people and an electric atmosphere of emotion, laughing, hair dressers and Make up artists. It was going to be an amazing day.
I arrived around 15 mins before the ladies to the West Keal Church to a remarkably calm Jamie and his troop of cheeky Groomsmen who were all stood ready and welcoming the guests, before long they were all ushered into the church as the bride made her arrival. It was time.
West Keal church didn't disappoint. Inside the church is beautifully lit, with its white walls, open beams and large windows which allow for beautiful lighting on the happy couple as they say their vows.
We decided to do all of the photography at the Church with the stunning surroundings, how could we not.
Afterwards everyone made their way to Southview in Skegness for the reception.
I have to say, this entire wedding party was so much fun - everything from the bottom of the grooms shoes to the best mans speech, the singing, the dancing, and the special wedding guest from the stag Party ( you'll see who I mean in the photos ) I don't think i've laughed so much in a long time. Anyway, enough of me rambling on, time for the photographs to do the talking for me.
It was a Pleasure Mr & Mrs Butler <3
