Caroline & Joshua - The Poachers Wedding
Ahh its good to be back in the swing of wedding season!
Todays share is from the beautiful wedding of Joshua & Caroline, who married on a beautiful sun drenched day here in Lincolnshire.
We started at Carolines parents home in Donington for the bridal preparations. The house was buzzing with excitement, a house full of bridesmaids and Polly the Jack russell also doing some pretty impressive posing for the camera - Think she's a bit of a pro now after strutting her stuff on the engagement photoshoot we did last year!
I have to say that Carolines choice of wedding gown was jaw dropping. With its open back and lace detailing it was simply stunning, with the bridemaids wearing a subtle tone of lilac/grey.
We then headed off to the ceremony venue - Donington Church which at this time of year is so beautiful, with its magnolia trees and spring flowers lining the walkway to the church doors. Here i met a rather nervous Joshua and the groomsmen all looking super dapper, and Reverend Charlie who is one of the reverends ( is that the correct term?) i meet often in the area and he's always an absolute joy to work along side with his deep booming voice and little jokes to keep the ceremony light hearted - so it was an even bigger joy to see he was invited to the wedding celebrations afterwards!
So, After witnessing Joshua's jaw hit the floor as he saw the stunning Caroline walk down the aisle towards him we had a few tears of joy and on with the ceremony it was.
Afterwards we all went over to Poachers Country Inn, Which i regularly photograph at where everyone was greeted with Champagne welcome drinks and some seriously tasty looking canapés whilst soaking up the sunshine.
I won't go on much more (I'm sure your here for the photographs and not my ramblings) But what can I say guys! the most laid back couple and a beautiful match, it was a pleasure to photograph your special day. Heres a little taster into the beautiful wedding day of Mr & Mrs Clark
