The first few weeks with our babies are certainly a whirlwind aren't they? Amongst the mixture of emotions  (and hormones), our little ones change daily and, as a mum myself, I feel its so important to remember every second of our newborns, their tiny features, the little windy smiles.. sheer perfection.

Newborn photography is something I specialise in and I have now been photographing babies for over 5 years, and the popularity of the sessions just grow and grow. My Newborn Photography Sessions are held in my studio in Kirton Holme, Lincolnshire, with the shoot usually lasting between 2-4 hours for newborn and very young children, however if your little one takes a little while to settle into the new surroundings its absolutely fine to go over this time, the most important thing to me is that you and your baby are happy and comfortable. I never book back to back sessions which gives us plenty of time to relax and your little ones to have feeds and settle into their session. Which usually gives us ample time that If mum and dad or older siblings would like to jump in for some photographs too this can make for some amazing memories.

My Studio offers a warm environment with carefully chosen natural toys, blankets and clothing to ensure that they are the only focus and resulting in organic, beautiful photographs, which capture all the details of your amazing little person.

Newborn sessions take place between 5-14 days. However, please don't be put off if your baby is older than this. The reason we ask for your baby to be so new to the world, is that they are still very sleepy, which gives us chance to get them into all the poses that you see. If your little one is older you may just find certain positions wont work for them and they are more likely to be awake in some of the photographs, if your looking for an older baby session you can find more information HERE

My Session are broke down into three different packages. At the time of booking your shoot a small retainer will be required with the remaining balance due on the day.

When to book

 

I always recommend booking your newborn photography session once you have had your 20 week scan. This way we can pencil in two dates into the diary. One thats close to the due date incase they arrive a bit early, and one a week later incase they don't. All dates are flexible - babies tend to arrive when they like. Once your little one arrives just give me a message and we can get your appointment scheduled in.
