Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most magical moments — fleeting, tender, and full of tiny details you’ll want to remember forever. I’m Jessy, a newborn photographer based in Boston, Lincolnshire, and I specialise in calm, baby-led sessions that capture those first days in a natural, gentle, and timeless way.

What to Expect

Every session is designed to be stress-free for you and your baby. In my cosy studio:

The room is warm, safe, and calm
Props and wraps are provided, but your baby leads the way
I guide you gently so the moments feel effortless, not posed
Sessions usually last 1.5–3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and breaks

You can sit back with a hot drink and watch the magic unfold — or even take a nap! I focus on capturing every tiny detail, from sleepy yawns and soft stretches to those precious little fingers and toes.

Best Time to Book

Newborn sessions are most beautiful in the first two weeks after birth, when babies are naturally sleepy and flexible. To capture these early moments, I recommend booking before your baby arrives.

It’s never too late to book, though! Older babies may be more alert and less flexible with poses, but this can also make for playful, personality-filled photos that you’ll treasure.

Outfits & Props

I provide a selection of soft wraps, blankets, and props, but parents are welcome to bring anything meaningful from home. You’ll also receive a pre-session guide with outfit ideas and tips for a smooth, calm experience.

When to Book

The best time to photograph your newborn is typically within the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy and scrunchy - although this is not essential.
I recommend booking your newborn session before your due date to guarantee availability — we’ll then confirm the perfect date once your baby arrives.

If your baby has already arrived, don’t worry! I often accommodate older newborns too, so please do get in touch.
